Product Description
The Hluru Sheepskin Drum Kalimba is where the mbira meets the hand drum.
Mounted on a genuine sheepskin drum head, this 9-key thumb piano vibrates with a warm, mellow, almost "hug-like" resonance. Pluck a tine and the skin answers back — a deep, organic tone you can feel in your chest. It is designed for sound healers, meditation practitioners, and anyone who wants a kalimba that sounds as beautiful as it looks.
Why sheepskin?
The natural sheepskin head adds a slower decay and a woody warmth. It pairs perfectly with singing, breathwork, and ambient sound baths. If you love warm, enveloping, meditative tones, this is your instrument.
